This is a CD cover I made myself and also my digipak. My cover features a shot from my play, taken in my underground garage and featuring me and my mates sitting on a sports car. Because our music video is a rap music, we feel that sports cars and fan cars are very important in our mv. Because we think it has a very West Coast style and our clothing is also very trendy. According to the ronaldo barthers theory of semiotics, I believe sitting on a sports car can have a strong impact on the audience because when a sports car appears in the TV, the audience will associate it with rap music, which is exactly what I want to bring to the audience
I did all the editing, planning, shooting, and writing while doing digipak. Because we make our own digipak. In terms of cover selection, I chose a photo of me sitting on a sports car, which also appeared in our TV. So this will be a small revelation about our mv style. I chose dark black for the entire background color because both my mate and I are wearing dark clothes that match the colors of the basement and sports cars. In terms of font selection, I chose to add some special effects to the font to make it look high-end and also decorate my image. On the cover image, I added a special effect to make the entire music and atmosphere look very immersive, which will more attract viewers or consumers to consume our music video
For my Digipak cover, my location is in my garage, and I used a sports car for the props. Because this is a very classic shot on my music video. Usually in rap music's mv, sports cars represent trends and cool. So I made my own Digipak cover with the lens of me sitting on a sports car, and I think this design will be very attractive to the audience
The equipment I used is a portable light. When shooting my Digipak cover, I used a Chinese application called "Xingtu" for post production and image editing. This is a Photoshop software with many templates, and I chose a CD template to complete my Digipak cover. And he will also provide you with many special effects to choose from. I used blurry and high contrast special effects to create a very psychedelic feeling
