Describe what happened on each day
The overall of our filming doesn’t goes well at first, because our song choice have made a huge mistake. We are choosing the song “Do not” by …. Which is a very hard rap music. After we tried some shot and setting (the background of the music is very hard for us to set.) This have made us very difficult to do with this music. We went out for 10days (From February 7th to April 1st) to finish the entire shooting of our new choice “write this down”. We have chosen 3 main locations as our shooting place. One is my apartment and Garage and a nice place in park near my apartment. The time was tuff especially some scene we shot in my house because some of our groupmate’s attendance is low, we unfortunately only have 3 people to do the shotting in the meantime. Lack of people means we cannot have extra people to help us to hold the light, therefore the lighting inside the house didn’t work well. However, I believe the after effect would help a lot due to our light. The shot we took actually goes very well and it abustle go like what me and my teammates thought. This honor is due to the hard work on the lyrics works, we didn’t waste any of our precious time.
How important was your planning as a way to ensure a successful shoot?
I did a fantastic planning of our shot sequence and the setting in my house. Here is the shot list I draw with my teammates. …… picture. Because we already have a basic thought of what we are going to film and the shot sequence. We just spend around 10 minutes for each shot for 10 time and we will choose the best shot we filmed for each shot. After we finish the shooting, we would hang out for dinner and we will do a brief analysis of the filming for today. We could share our thought on the dinner table if someone have a better idea or improvement for any shot.
How long did the filming take? Is this what you had anticipated?
The filming almost took us 10 days from start to the end. Because some outside shot in the park requires a good weather and nice sunlight, it is quite hard for us to achieve in the weekend. Although, it didn’t go what I had anticipated, because we made a huge mistake that cause the shot we took in my apartment for the first two days can’t being used. Because the window in my apartment is big, the reflection of people film during afternoon is huge. After we viewed our source we took, we decide to film it again by the curtain closed. That is one of the challenges we faced during the shot in my house.
How did you work as a group? (if applicable)
We did worked well as a group, I am taking responsible for planning shooting and acting. Because we all have experience of working together from last year project. The two main problems we faced are 1. Attendance. 2. Choice of song. This two problems actually caused us a big trouble, because we can’t work with high efficiency when we only have 3 people.

We have all put in a lot of effort and time for our group, and I have served as a small part of the storyboard and shot planning in our group. I focused more on filming because last year I mainly focused on acting and sound editing, so this year I want to try something I haven't tried before, such as filming and planning. My team member Arthur and I spent a shot list together and also listed some designated shots. Because I didn't do a lot of acting this year, I participated in a lot of filming. I learned a lot about camera movement and tuning various parameters from my team member Richard. For example, iso, aperture, sensitivity
