Our initial idea about our film opening
Before Arthur came to our group, Richard and I thought that our scene was set in the school. Because it was convenient to shoot, many students could help with the group performance. The plot was that the protagonist didn't do well in the year-end exam, so he didn't want to face the blame of his parents, and finally chose to jump off the roof of the library. We also wanted to use a drone to shoot the picture of me standing on the rooftop, but this idea was a little single and boring, so Arthur came up with a better idea.
Our initial idea was to let protagonist kill himself with a pistol. He began to regret that he killed others. At that time, the whole scene was going to be filmed in a dark room. We were going to let one hand hold the gun and kill him, but this would create an enigma for the audience. Because they can't see whether he killed himself with a gun or someone else gave him a gun. I raised some objections because I think the whole plot is not very compact, because we want to make the beginning of a movie. We can't put the whole movie in the beginning. The beginning of the movie just gives the audience a simple understanding of our movie.
Finally, Arthur showed us some Japanese comics. One of them was about a high school student who got up in the morning and went to school. Then there were some violent incidents. Because the day before he met the devil, the cartoon was very interesting. Because the devil threatened the high school student. The devil told him that if you don't kill your best female friend, I will let your parents die immediately, So that male high school student was the one who killed for his parents. Because he had been brainwashed by the devil, he killed many students with a baseball bat at school. Finally, the police arrived and he was shot dead in the resistance. We thought this plot was good, so we quoted this plot as the beginning of our movie. We chose the place for photography in my home, Arthur's home and the school elevator.
Day1:
Devil: Love issues? (curious)
Bobby:妈? (distressed)
Devil: She can’t hear you. Maybe we can help each other out. (confidently)
Bobby: I, I don’t trust you
Devil: Maybe you will, we can help each other out. Call me if you have changed your mind.
Mom: 没事吧?
Bobby: Oh 没事.
Day 2:
Devil: I am glad you have made up your mind
Bobby: What is the deal then?
Devil: You, my friend, get a good ending, and I get a good laugh.
Bobby: But how?
