The key genre conventions Genre conventions are mostly about the story elements, key events, and Settings found in a particular genre. These conventions define not only each particular genre, but also readers' expectations of stories in that genre.
(Figure 1, This is a poster that showed the movie genre.)
The purpose of genre
Some screenwriters use genre as a means to decide what plot or content to include in the script. They may study specific types of movies to find examples. This is a way for some screenwriters to copy elements of successful films and reprint them in new scripts.
A mind map about type of genre
This is a mind map for the type of genre and I also labelled the famous movies for the type of genre.
(Figure 2, Showed the Type of Genre mind map and Famous movies for the type of genre.) The use of the movie trailer The trailer consists of a series of selected scenes from the film being promoted. Since the purpose of the trailer is to attract the audience to watch the film, these excerpts are usually from the most exciting, interesting parts of the film, but they are short and usually have no spoilers.
Here is a example of a small clip of trailer.
The key convention for my clips is action. The hole clips shot by the handheld camera, the dolly in combine with tilt, and with follow shots on the football. We can see dirty single, extreme close up shot, over the shoulder shot, crowed shot In the clips.
